loving colo(u)rs

if you don't already know about colourlovers.com, you should!  you can create colors, look at colors created by others, and (my favorite feature) create and explore color palettes and patterns created by others.  there is a feature (i haven't used it yet) allowing you to extract a color palette from a photograph.  wow!

the palettes above were created by others using autumn photos -- the top from leaves, the bottom from a chestnut. 

hmmmmmmm.
